My Surfing Breakthrough at Skudin Surf - Friday, Jun 6, 2025

For over three years, surfing sat on my personal goals list. Always close but never quite crossed off. That changed on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Skudin Surf inside American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

I had an incredible experience from start to finish. I left West Chester, PA, around 5 AM. From the moment I walked in, the Skudin Surf crew delivered a top-tier experience. Everyone was knowledgeable, focused, and brought great energy.

In just two hours, I went from falling off the board to confidently riding waves. The instructors explained everything clearly and helped me build real progress, fast. If you have never surfed and want to learn, book the full two-hour session, it makes a true difference.

Huge thanks to Surf Eye, the camera system that captured every moment. From wipeouts to breakthroughs, it gave me the footage to reflect on this milestone and share my first real taste of the surf life.
